You will notice that the sizes of the images on the left hand column of the home page have been increased.
This was made necessary by a formatting problem on the mobile version of the website. At the former size of the featured images, the headlines were wrapping around the featured image, which trashed the home page design on mobile platforms. That has now been corrected by increasing the size of the featured image.
We will be increasing the number of items in the sidebar to compensate.
If you cannot find the excerpt box, you can turn it on by going to the Screen Options tab at the top right hand corner of the screen, right under your screen name.
Open the Screen Options and make sure the Excerpts is checked off. If it is not checked off, click on the box to turn it on. You should only have to do this once. Note that all of the options in the Screen Options Box must be turned on in order for the system to operate properly.
Also note that the Excerpt box may pop up in the right hand column or underneath the text entry window, so look for it in both places.
Headlines must be 44-68 characters including spaces.
Use Headline Case
Do not begin headlines with punctuation marks, other symbols, or numerals

If you want to see the Robles, read Dean Baquet of the New York Times on “sophisticated objectivity.” What is important to note is that it’s Orwellian Newspeak. The biggest change in US policy is that impartiality and objectivity no longer overlap. He’s gone with impartiality and called it objectivity. It is not, at all. It is cowardly scorekeeping and trying to maintain a.middle ground. If someone were holding negotiations between Mazis and Jews in 1942, the Nazis wanted to kill six million and the Jews wanted zero, sophisticated objectivity would split the difference at three million or maybe two million and call it virtuous. That’s impartiality. The objective truth is that mass murder is wrong.

Journalism is advocacy.
The true journalist advocates articulating and publishing the truth.
“In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”
——George Orwell
There is no ethical obligation, or moral imperative, to give ‘alternative facts’ equal time.
The First Amendment guarantees the protection of the publication of the truth. It does not provide the same protection for the gathering of facts.
The terms: fair, balanced, and impartial are not the equivalent of journalistic objectivity, but platitudes and euphemisms for the cowardice of the capitalist profiteer in the knowing and willing failure to articulate and publish the truth.
