All-Lives-Matter–Racism’s Latest Rhetorical Disingenuous Mantra
‘All Lives Matter’ is doubly-flawed.
The thoughtless, reactive mantra demands a series of intellectual and rhetorical symmetries—historical, economic, educational, civil rights, criminal justice symmetries–that have never existed, and it’s a transparent, disingenuous sop too-casually lobbed at people who know better, and translates, at best, and justly, as condescension. It’s simply the latest rhetorical racist gambit of the so-called “reverse-racism” whiners.
