As a result of their continued and consistent support of Trump, Republicans can no longer claim to be the following:
Budget balancing fiscal conservatives;
The Party of Economic Growth and Stability;
Constitutional strict constructionists;
The party of Lincoln;
The party of the ‘Silent Majority’;
The party of hardliners for National Security and National Defense;
The ‘law and order’ party…
When all is said and done at the end of the day, it might well be argued that the Republican Party no longer exists as the loyal opposition, a viable political force to be reckoned with, but as a mere shell and shadow of its former ‘grand old’ self….
