New Function Added to the Members Menu

NEWS FLASH: IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE EXCERPT BOX, IT IS NOW DIRECTLY BELOW THE DATA ENTRY WINDOW, WHERE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE.

I have introduced a new functionality that lists every article ever posted on BindleSnitch by Author.  You can access this function by clicking on the Members link on the main menu and selecting ARTICLES BY AUTHOR.

You might want to check to make sure that all of your articles are being listed.

It appears that I designed this page some months ago but never finished it, and I don’t know why we never published it before but I have to admit that I don’t now understand how it works…but it does.

The best use of this function is to track down one of your old articles or to find an article that someone else wrote that has since fallen off the home page. Unless you remember the category the article was filed under, it is very difficult to find those items.

Of course, you can use the Chronological Archive (also accessed from the Members menu) which does list every article ever published, most recent first….BUT it appears that the Alphabetical (which is accessed FROM the Chronological archive) isn’t working, which is why the Articles By Author listing can help with that.

The objective here is to make the site easily searchable so it becomes a better communications tool.
