Vs.? Trump is way more of a crook than Nixon ever was and he’s far more blatant about it to the point where he’s normalized it. He’s also a way, way worse President than Nixon, which is pretty weird coming from a liberal who came of age during Nixon’s presidency.

Nixon, for all his failings, was very, very serious about his country. Nixon, for all his failings, was one of the best foreign policy Presidents of the last century, while Trump is one of the worst. Nixon would never have dreamed of gutting whole federal departments because he respected government which Trump doesn’t at all. Nixon wouldn’t have proposed something like the Muslim ban in a million years.
