Oh yeah! Really?!
It’s summertime and the warmest summertime places in the country are spiking with COVID19:
Arizona, Florida, Texas are latest coronavirus epicenters
“Florida, Texas and Arizona are emerging as the country’s latest epicenters after reporting record numbers of new infections for weeks in a row. Positivity rates and hospitalizations have also spiked…”

Weren’t the summer sunshine and warm temperatures supposed to make the Coronavirus disappear?
Lest we forget:
Apparently, the only thing this ‘hot air’ is killing is more people.
So, here’s a ‘fun’ question:
Why are the village idiots always among the most popular kids at school?

Not a psychologist, so can’t answer the village idiot question. But I used to wonder how the French could make a day of it at the guillotine–picnics, cheering, etc. Somebody’s head falling into a basket seemed too gross to watch voluntarily, but now

@Greenheron;
During a time of universal or mass disrespect and disregard for humanity and the human condition, a communally enjoyed beheading could be characterized as entertainment.
Consider the Romans and their gladiators, and American lynchings, action movies and NFL football…
You don’t need to be a psychologist to see the relationship between the NFL football tailgating parties and the French guillotine picnics….
Keep this in mind also, under the US Constitution, beheading is prohibited, not as obscene entertainment which has no redeeming social value, but as cruel and unusual punishment.
The police murder of George Floyd is as close as we’ll ever get to what amounted to be a public execution.
COVID19 provided a captive audience ordered to stay at home and watch it…
The reaction and response is being chronicled and destined to become a pivotal chapter in American History….
Re unwarranted and unjustified police violence against black people:
The party’s over…
Trump has been an idiotic, imbecilic, predatory bully his entire life.
My question is: How do individuals like him become and remain popular?
He is pathetic enough on his own. The people who follow and popularize him are even more so….
