Stonewall at Fifty-LGBT Outrage at Religion Has Been So Restrained
Stonewall at fifty, just past, I think I’d have to live scores years on, have to witness to a world of far more enlightened institutional Christianity, Judaism, Islam, before I could find any sexual/gender minority criticism of those institutions even close to over the top. By my lights, given the millennia of overwhelming offensiveness, shameless bigotry, and murder all celebrated, and as yet tolerated by institutional religion, the outrage has been restrained.

Do you think you could rewrite this into something more closely resembling English? I think I know what you meant in your first sentence but boy does it wander around the block looking for the ice cream man.
