THE LAST STRAW: Trump Orders Hospitals Not to Send Data To CDC

PROBLEM 

DONALD TRUMP HAS ORDERED HOSPITALS TO SEND COVID DATA TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES RATHER THAN TO THE CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL….AND THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THAT DONALD TRUMP HAS THE AUTHORITY TO DO THIS.

ANALYSIS

Hospitals are either non-profit public entities or for-profit private entitles. Regardless of which category they are in, the President of the United States has absolutely NO authority to order hospitals to stop sending data to the CDC or to start sending data to HHS UNLESS HE HAS DECLARED MARTIAL LAW…and, even then, this might even be illegal despite what some so-called legal experts are saying.

This is simple common sense. There is no statement in the Constitution of the United States that gives the president this authority. There is no citation in the United States Code that enables a president, in peace-time, to assume war powers such as those assumed by Lincoln during the Civil War and Roosevelt during World War II.

There has been so such declaration of war. The sitting president has alleged that we are at war with Covid-19 but that is simply rhetoric, not reality.

YOU CANNOT DECLARE WAR WITHOUT AN ACT OF CONGRESS. CONGRESS HAS MADE NO SUCH DECLARATION.

Donald Trump believes that the COVID-19 epidemic is impairing his ability to win a second term because, unless the COVID-19 epidemic is brought under control, the economy will collapse right around election day.

Donald Trump believes that if we do less testing, then people will believe that the epidemic is over and will resume normal activity. Therefore, since Donald Trump has failed to get states and cities to stop testing, he has decided to prevent the American people from getting access to the data.

We are now at a point where the control over a certain datasets may very well control the outcome of elections, and therefore it behooves politicians to control the datasets.

Donald Trump cannot control the Centers for Disease Control because the key players at the Centers for Disease Control, like Doctor Anthony Fauci, are civil servants who are not under the control or authority of the president or his minions. They are literally civil servants and are protected from political pressure by the Civil Service Acts of 1883 and 1978.

President Donald Trump has absolutely no authority over hospital administrators. He cannot tell them to do anything he wants them to do, nor can he tell them NOT to do anything that he DOES NOT want them to do.

His assertion that he has such authority flies in the face of the Constitution, the laws of the United States, the laws of the several states.

In effect, Donald Trump is attempting to operate as if he has declared martial law without actually declaring martial law…and if we let him get away with this the rule of law no longer exists in America, if it ever really did.

Hospitals may, at their discretion, send data wherever they wish to send the data as long as the data is not specifically attached to a given person through any identifying code.

A CALL FOR ACTION

It is time for the people of the United States to take direct action against the Anti-Christ in the White House. (If you still don’t realize that Trump is the anti-Christ, you are not a Christian.)

The time has come for ordinary Americans to stop listening to this maniac and do whatever we think needs to be done.

If every hospital in American were to simply issue daily press releases recounting the daily numbers for their caseloads there is absolutely nothing that Donald Trump can do to stop them, nor is there anything he can do to prevent news organizations from publishing that data.

We, the people, can do this ourselves. We can use existing technology to scan the internet on a daily basis to tabulate the reports that individual hospitals are issuing.

This requires the doctors of the United States to rise up and demand that their administrators ignore the Troll in the White House and do what is necessary to combat this epidemic.

There are no statutes that the president could employ to retaliate against the administrators and doctors who take this position. Doctors are obligated by the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm: concealing the actual numbers of infections, hospitalizations and fatalities would constitute doing grievous harm to their patients who are being told lies about the status of the epidemic and the effectiveness of the preventive measures they are being told to take….and the dangers not doing the things that the Trump administration is telling us not to do.

There are people reading this article who know exactly how to write programs that can compile this information automatically. All they need is some money. Does anyone have George Soros’ phone number handy? How about Bill Gates.

In 2008 we had a rogue vice president. Today, we have a rogue president. This man must be brought to heel or he will destroy this nation.

We have to oppose every stupid thing he does.  Otherwise, we are complicit in his behavior.

Donald Trump cannot be allow to FUCK WITH THE DATA we need to determine whether we are winning or losing the battle against this epidemic because, even though we are not at war, we are most definitely in a battle to save this civilization from an insane maniac.
