Trump Doesn’t Read His Daily Briefings Because He Can’t Read
It has been reported that warnings of a potential Coronavirus pandemic were included in Trump’s daily briefings as far back as January:
“U.S. intelligence agencies issued warnings about the novel coronavirus in more than a dozen classified briefings prepared for President Trump in January and February, months during which he continued to play down the threat, according to current and former U.S. officials.”

Clearly, the idea that ‘reading is fundamental’ has completely escaped Trump, who can be characterized as being only semiliterate at best:
“semiliterate: a person who is poorly educated or unable to read or write with ease or fluency”
I rest my case….
So, here is my question:
Does the fact that he can’t read, which causes him to lose his place in prepared text, explain why Trump frequently wanders off script to engage in his distinct brand of ‘malignant narcissism’?
