Trump’s Corona Calculus
Trump has a way with reports predicated on scientific data.
He ‘cherrypicks’ words and phrases that resonate with him.
He then tortuously twists and turns the phrase until he is comfortable with the way it sounds to him viz a viz his policy, posture, perspective, or point of view.
Having done that, he quotes himself as though the statement or assertion of ‘fact’ came from some anonymous authoritative source:
Early on in the onset of the pandemic, somebody told Trump that COVID19 has a disproportionate negative effect on the older residents of economically disadvantaged black and brown communities….
In his mind, he determined that since the virus would do the most harm to people of color who lived in ‘blue state’ cities, there was no real need to declare a national emergency and react and respond accordingly…
Since that time, he has decided that the virus is a blessing in disguise because it gives him a reason to not “shake hands with those disgusting people”. He was referring, of course, to the thousands of supporters and followers who show up at his ‘superspreader’ gatherings and rallies….
His recent bout with COVID19 has given him a reason to ponder ‘herd immunity’ as an official approach to dealing with the continuing spread of the disease from which he believes himself to now be immune because of his exposure and ‘recovery’…
In a manifestation of a classic Freudian Slip, he referred to ‘herd immunity’ as ‘herd mentality’…
By now, it should be clear that he sees his supporters and followers as disgusting cattle who will blithely and blindly follow him to their inevitable demise both literally and figuratively….
Our problem with all of this is that the ‘herd mentality’ will not result in the development of a ‘herd immunity’ to the outbreak of the suicidal Trumpism that has infected the American ‘body politic’…

What state is responsible for the most republican votes?
California.

Which state has the highest population? California.
Which state has the highest percentage of Republican voters? Wyoming.
I really didn’t understand the point you were trying to make.

Maybe I misinterpreted the cartoon. Or over interpreted. It reminded me of that asshole refusing any recovery money to California when it’s got the greatest number voting for him. (I know, I know, the electoral college makes that meaningless, I still like the irony even if I only imagined it.)

JC:Yes mam and Wisconsin is like going to Europe! Here at Aftermath, LLC at 04:07 we perfected the love and affection of our Tutorial Card Tragic wherein the 52 ‘factors’ shuffle and stack competing with analog great big fun. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat so to speak. Each state has ‘intrinsic value’ pursuant to the Electoral College. Every card includes
state slogan, animal, bird, date of statehood and # of ELECTORIAL BALLOTS. Frack it was a lot of detail and deep breathing but holy cow and oh holy night for what it’s worth! I’d insisted
on reclaimed linen and the mirror-like-red-blue-purplish back card; now we’re attempting our super ‘kickoff’ with gratis distribution to all of the Salvation Army shelters.
