The other way we know is that most of those who want this to be a Christian nation tend not to follow Christ’s teachings.

The first sentence is the single sentence known as the preamble:
“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence,[note 1] promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
Nowhere,in this eloquent and elegant preface to one of the most consequential documents on the planet, is God or Christ mentioned or alluded to…
