I’m posting this as a supplement to Alan’s excellent post re the issues he raises about the fluctuations in oil production and prices  in the wake of the recent drone attack against Saudi oil refineries.

Interesting Fallacies about The Oil Field Attacks

If you haven’t read the book, or seen the movie, both entitled “The Formula”, please do.

The film starring George C. Scott and Marlon Brando, and the novel by Steve Shagan, are excellent vehicles for acquiring some insight into how the world oil trade works.

Both are interesting and entertaining while putting the international oil business into digestible perspective.
