Expose Yourself to Elijah Pierce
Well, you can’t really expose yourself to him, but you can see his art. If you are in Philadelphia between September 27th and January 1st, you can see an Elijah Pierce exhibit at the Barnes Foundation. Pierce was a barber who spent his adult life in Columbus, Ohio, and made carvings of religious and political subject matter. My wife and I are fortunate enough to own what we think is a rather interesting one. It shows Nixon being chased from Washington D.C. by Woodward and Bernstein.
We have attended one Pierce exhibit in the Columbus Museum of Art, and we have loaned this piece to a museum in Canton. Now, we are playing patron of the arts again. If your personal pandemic protocol will allow it, get to Philadelphia and see our rising Columbus artist.

I don’t think that Philadelphia is on my shopping list. Last time I was there was to run a blood drive for The Heinlein Society at the annual science fiction convention sometime toward the end of the last century.
Here’s a question: could you post images of his artwork for those of us who have not had the advantage of seeing his work?

I believe I can do that.
