He, She and It: A Novel by [Piercy, Marge]

I’m not sure how to categorize this one, fantasy, futuristic, maybe dystopian? Mostly a beautiful and meaningful novel. It presents a world, after the inevitable Mid East nuclear war, set in the United States as it becomes once the planet is largely unlivable. The author is a poet as much as a novelist and it comes across in the work.
