How to Join the Video Revolution…or Why Not?

The written word is under attack…by the spoken word and by moving pictures. We get more and more of our information through video channels, which makes it easier for people who have difficulty reading to inform themselves…but it also leaves those people more vulnerable to manipulation.

Whether you like it or not, video is here to stay and, if you do like it, that’s a good thing. That’s why we created this section on BindleSnitch, to give people a place to showcase their original videos…but it’s up to you to decide whether you want to post your videos here – in the bonus section – or if you would rather put them into one of the regular content categories.

With fiction, poetry and music, that’s an easy decision, because those materials will not show up well in the regular content categories…but video is in a class by itself. Video can be a separate discipline…or it can be the means of expression that is applicable to any subject.
