Now Is the Time….
We absolutely cannot have an election that is ‘too close to call’ or within the ‘margin of error’…
Trump must be beaten AT THE POLLS by insurmountable margins or our democracy will face demise and ruin:
If at all possible, Trump intends to ignore and disenfranchise millions of voters….
All he need do is keep it close enough to force a Supreme Court decision….
If you don’t know what that would mean, you should pack your things and leave the country….
Move to Hungary or Russia or wherever you would feel comfortable and at home…
Why wait for Trump to create an autocratic oligarchy.
Like everything else he’s done, he’s almost certain to fuck that up….
“Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their country…”
Sounds like something Patrick Henry might have said.
But he didn’t….

If this isn’t the most disturbing thing I have heard from a President of the United States, it is only beyond something else this same man has said…which does not come to mind right now.
Yesterday I commented, “what would Trump not do…”, just 40 minutes before Trump made this comment.

@Bitey;
There’s absolutely nothing that Trump won’t do to stay in office and continue to evade and avoid criminal prosecution and disclosure of his innermost personal and financial secrets…
He would force an armed conflict to remove him from office…
We’ve already seen the dress rehearsals….

I’m afraid that is true. It is both disturbing and disgusting.

Even in the small town I have moved to, the big trucks with flags, symbols and large high school drop-outs carrying long guns can be seen driving through and trying to cause alarm.
They are successful.
There is not any bottom for this President.
Armed conflicts are sure to occur no matter the results of the election.
He will cease declaring there are good people on both sides.
I have said all along that I want to see him removed from office by any legal means possible.
I don’t say that any more.

Without trying to just smear the man, Trump has telegraphed that he is a rapist, both literally and figuratively. His first wife, Ivana claimed that he raped her. He was caught bragging about sexual assault on tape. He was a close personal friend of Jeffrey Epstein. Now, he seeks to go around the rules to grab and hold onto power. Some may say those are unrelated. Not only do I think they are related, but they also made him somewhat predictable. Goodness knows that if a kindergartener snatches a kiss these days, he can get suspended. If Donald Trump grabs one, democracy gets suspended.

@AWS;
We may have reached the point where people can begin to think that Trump must be removed by any means necessary.

I’m not sure Trump is as important as his main enablers are.

If it weren’t for Trump, there would be no one to enable…

Trump is effective because McConnell lets him be. McConnell is why Trump isn’t accountable. Merrick Garland was 100% McConnell. As most of the problem isn’t the police but the prosecutors who don’t hold them accountable because, make no mistake about it, the problem is not the crimes so much as the lack of accountability for them, the problem with Trump is lack of accountability and we know who is responsible for that.

@Koshersalaami;
Trump as a dupe and conduit is the creation of Mitch McConnell who functions as the enabler-in-chief.
However, he is also an asset of Putin in Russia’s efforts in the destabilization of the American government and electoral process.
‘Moscow’ Mitch is fully aware of the fact that his ‘Trumpenstein’ monster may follow Mary Shelly’s original storyline and, in the end, destroy himself, his creator, and the apparatus (the Republican Party) that brought him into existence….
Republicans had been dreaming of a ‘great white hope’ since the first inauguration of Barack Obama.
Instead, what they got, in fulfillment of their dream, is the grotesque and monstrous nightmare embodied in Donald Trump…
Establishment Republicans didn’t want Trump as the Party’s standard bearer because most, if not all, of them knew that he is ignorant, incompetent, and unfit for the office and task of President of the United States…
Whether Trump peaceably leaves or is forcibly removed from office, the Republican Party may not survive the legacy and aftermath of the creation of its heart’s desire…
