Are you going in circles trying to keep up with who’s who and what’s what re the arguments being made in defense of Trump, and the people making them?

Here’s your lineup and quick guide to the legal representation and ludicrous argumentation:

DOJ — Attorney General —

William Barr, et al

Arguing in federal court that a sitting President can’t ever be prosecuted at any time for anything.The remedy against presidential wrongdoing is impeachment.

White House Counsel — Represents the Presidency:

The White House Counsel is a staff appointee of the President of the United States whose role is to advise the President on all legal issues concerning the Office of the President and their Administration. Pat Cipollone has served as the current White House Counsel since December 2018:

Letter from White House Counsel to congressional committees: arguing that, “Impeachment is unconstitutional…”

Personal Counsel — Rudy Giuliani: “The President is above the law. Can’t break the law.”

The circular argumentation and reasoning these people are engaged in is an absolute joke and a travesty. All of them are, at the very least, guilty of violating  the The Lawyers Code of Professional Ethics.
